First, we start with simple skills like making time to actually sit down to eat and thoroughly chewing your food as well as a deep dive into stress management and bolstering your self-care routine.
Then we work on what goes in your mouth. Maybe you need to start eating regularly to balance blood sugar, clean up a Standard American Diet (SAD), or just get a lot more veggies onto your plate each day. Maybe you need to experiement with something like a Food Elimination Diet to determine sensitivities to specific food(s).
Next comes the very exciting and often-illuminating GI Map, a DNA-based stool test that assesses overall gastrointestinal health by comprehensive molecular evaluation of the GI microbiome, gut inflammation, and digestive function.
Finally, it’s time to rebuild and the gastrointestinal tract, optimize digestion and absorption of nutrients, and relish in a happier belly.
